About VC Ranch

Vick and Christa Conway met at a horse show.  It was probably sometime in the 70s (no, they are not that old....they just met when they were really young.)  They really did, their families both competed at horse shows (the contesting shows) in the Midwest, mostly Indiana and surrounding states.  Christa had a crush on Vick when she was nine and he was'll have to ask them about the rest of the story sometime.

Our Victory is in Christ
Family Affair

It's always been about faith, family and having some fun together.

Plenty of pictures to browse are a few of our favorite horses...and there are more if you check out the Horses page.
  1. Pars Little Chance
    Pars Little Chance
As honest as they come - a Champion many times over with several different riders. World Champion Ranch Horse in barrels and poles.
  2. Te Elite
    Te Elite
Indiana NBHA Champion, won 5 of 6 barrel races at state show with Debby Brown (Garling) in the driver seat. Vick Conway won the All Around CRA Championship in 2007 and Tony Meinsma won the Iowa NBHA 1D with him as well. Small but mighty!
  3. Chicks Dig It
    Chicks Dig It
How could you not love that name? He was making a super nice 1D horse and went to Iowa to compete, sadly he passed away due to colic complications. We still have and compete on one of his daughters, Lucky Leggs (Peanut.)
  4. Butler Did It
    Butler Did It
We've had him longer than we've been married! That's what we tell everyone about this guy. He's part of the family and has won more barrel races and pole bendings than we can remember.
  5. Lucks Bold Story
    Lucks Bold Story
Lucky was picked out by my grandpa as a yearling and won barrel races and rodeos with four generations of my family. We had to say goodbye in January of 2017, but he'll always hold a special place in our hearts.
  6. Bet The Bunny
    Bet The Bunny
One of Vick's all time favorites. She won quite a bit her futurity year and went on to win for Tony Miensma and Gabbie Grothe in Iowa and now Texas.
